Q.Hibiscus and Azalea Pruning

Anonymous added on February 24, 2014 | Answered

I have a hibiscus and an azalea that I brought in the house for the winter in large planters. The hibiscus has remained green through the winter. Do I prune both back and, if so, how much?

Hold off on pruning the hibiscus. This should be done in spring. This article should help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm As for the azalea, you should also wait--after blooming is best.
