Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live at 6, 000 ft. elevation. It is fall but no frost as yet (Sept. 20). My hyacinths are blooming in the flower gardens, why? They bloomed in the spring in pots in the low desert, finished the cycle and I planted them here.

My usual answer to this question is, “They can’t read a calendar!”. All kidding aside, this happens sometimes, especially when they have been transplanted from a container. Don’t worry too much. Leave them alone and enjoy. They may not bloom in the spring, probably won’t, but the bulbs will get on the right schedule. Again, leave them alone and enjoy.
