How do I make my hyacinths bloom? Had them for 5 years and they will come up with thick leaves but will never bloom.

Hyacinth can sometimes be difficult to get to bloom from year to year. Try adding some bone meal to their soil to add phosphorous, which they need for blooming and make sure that their leaves are left on until they turn yellow, as this is how they get energy to bloom for next year.
