Where and when to plant hyacinths that I received potted and blooming? I live in Baton Rouge, LA where we get a few weeks of freezing weather. Thank you.

You can plant them outdoors once the blooms fade and the ground can be worked. If the ground in your area does not freeze, you can do it now. Do not cut the leaves, leave them on the plant, as this will help them store energy for next year. Be aware that as they have bloomed already this year, they will not bloom this spring. You will have to wait until next year for them  to bloom again.
