Q.Hyacinth in water

Zone Bedford, Texas 76021 | Anonymous added on February 22, 2020 | Answered

I was given a rooted hyacinth bulb with the stalk and leaves and a bud or 2. The flowers have died, so now what do I do with it? Also, could I take this bulb, since it has been in water, and anchor it in a koi pond?

Here are instructions for care of an indoor hyacinth bulb:

You could plant it near your koi pond, but not where it would be in constant moisture, which will lead to rot.
