Q.hyacinth bulbs
I was given a hyacinth bulb in water. The bloom is over but there are still leaves. Can I plant in soil, either directly in the garden or in a pot? if so when?
I ahve searched on line and have gotten several answers. I live in So California.
You can plant them, you will just want to do this before it gets hot. They really like a dormancy period after each year, so they won't do as well in your area, but you can do this yourself using your refrigerator to simulate a winter.
