So I just recently got hyacinth bulbs in the mail and I was planning on forcing them, but not soon. After I put them in forcing vases they started turning yellow — not sure what to do. Please help…

That appears to be a flower stalk trying to form. I would go ahead and plant them, or get their roots supported in water. This is just a sign that they are ready to be moved to a suitable growing environment
