Q.Hyacinth
I received a hyacinth plant from my husband a couple weeks ago. It is done blooming. I would like to plant it outside in the fall. What should I do with it in the meantime?

Treat it like a normal houseplant until the leaves fade. Water it when the top of the soil is dry, give it some water soluble fertilizer and make sure it gets plenty of light. Once the leaves die back completely, stop watering it. Once the soil is dry all the way through, you can take the bulbs out and plant them in the ground.
