Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWondering what HWP refers to. We purchased 2 fuchsia with that indicator. We live in an 8.5 hardiness zone and want to plant in ground. They are a hardy lax upright variety (Clair de Lune) and wanted to make sure we give them every chance to thrive. Also, I have read that I may need to bury the crown about 4 inches when I plant.

HWP simpy means the plant is “hardy with protection.”
