Q.Hibiscus losing leaves

Anonymous added on July 15, 2015 | Answered

I have a potted Hibiscus. It is losing leaves but still blooming. I have moved it several times to increase the sunlight. It is almost barren of leaves now. What am I doing wrong?

Most likely this is due to stress - probably just adjusting/acclimating to its new surroundings. Since the plant is blooming, which can also use up lots of energy and lead to stress, just make sure to provide plenty of light and water. The leaves should regrow once the plant rebounds.

If the leaves are yellowing too, then this article may be helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/answers-to-what-causes-hibiscus-leaves-turning-yellow.htm
