Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy fig prickly pear needs to be trimmed up, and I’m not sure of the proper way. We just take a shovel and cut pieces off, but not up high. I also noticed an oozing, white fungal material on the cactus. How do you treat this? My cactus is over 12 feet high and at least that wide, and I don’t want to lose it. Also, my pipe organ cactus has a fungus on it. It’s circular. Any information will be helpful. Thanks,
Kathy Judge. kpcookie@hotmail.com

I would treat the Cactus with an anti fungal.
