How to tell when sweet annie goes to seed

I love sweet Annie and have planted some that I found in pots. I want to harvest some seed to plant in the garden but don’t know when the seeds form. The plants have small yellow flowers on them now – how can I tell when it’s time to cut and harvest them? Thanks
