Q.How To Tell When Bottlebrush Bush Is Dead
I transplanted a Bottlebrush bush a couple of weeks ago. Leaves started to curl and loose green color and some leaves fell off. There are still a few green leaves. How will I know when it is dead?

Transplant shock is common when planting in the heat. These will need to be planted in Spring or Autumn to avoid this. The problem comes when attempting to compensate for the heat. A shade cloth can help protect from some of the heat, instead of watering. Watering needs to be done as the soil dries completely down to about 3 inches or so, while it is establishing.
