How to take care of established June bearing strawberry plants

June bearing strawberries were already planted when I purchased myhome two years ago. Last year they were loaded with strawberies and good sized. This year, they bearly produced and what did come were very small. Do I prune these plants somehow or what to I need to do to have a good yield of stawberries next year?
