How to take care of established June bearing strawberry plants

June bearing strawberries were already planted when I purchased myhome two years ago. Last year they were loaded with strawberies and good sized. This year, they bearly produced and what did come were very small. Do I prune these plants somehow or what to I need to do to have a good yield of stawberries next year?

The plants may be too crowded and need rejuvenation and thinning. If you scroll to the bottom of this article, it will explain how to do that:
