I wish I had a picture. There should be one central leader, that's vital. If the top is leaning to reach sunlight, there is nothing you can do. However, if the tree hasn't been pruned, have an arborist come out. Removing competing and crossing branches may open it up to more sunlight. If an arborist is out of the question, there are YouTube videos on how to trim your tree.
