Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI ordered three hibiscus plants online and when they arrived they were three sticks with roots tangled together. I planted all three in a pot and they have started to grow leaves. I am worried that they will become too large to grown in the single pot. How can I separate the plants now without damaging them? I am interested in bringing them inside once the weather turns cold. Will they require direct sun?

I’m assuming we’re talking tropical hibiscus. Remove the plants from the pot and gently tease the roots apart. Repot. You may also find this article helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/wintering-hibiscus-indoors-winter-care-for-hibiscus.htm [1]
