how to replant or save seeds of spider flower

I have a group of spider flowers growing in my yard. I did not plant them (prob birds). I want to relocate them, or at least know how to save seeds or what I need to do to place them where I want them next spring. Afraid to dig them up and kill them. Do I cut off the head of the flower for the seed? What can I do?

The seeds are easy to save and it is likely the seeds were dropped into your yard!

You can clip the spent flowers off the plant and harvest the seeds.
After the seeds are dried you can store in a cool dry location.
