How to save my prayer plant

I bought this beautiful prayer plant a few weeks ago, and now it’s dying. I made sure to keep the soil moist but not overly wet. At first I placed it near a window, but that seemed to be too much light, so I moved it into a room with less light. That seemed to escalate the death. I took it out of the original pot and separated the roots which were tightly clustered. Now I don’t know what to do. YouTube videos advise an enclosed container to keep the moisture consistent, but I am not certain how I can do that with it in its current state. Please help.

The roots can dry out and die quickly if left out of the soil.
Your plant does not look good, and it may be a case of tossing it out and starting over.
You can propagate a leaf if you have any healthy leaves remaining.
