Q.how to save my Mayflower Trailing Arbutus. I repotted on Saturday. Petals are turning brown and it looks like it is dying.
I repotted with all-purpose soil which is lighter than the moisture control soil I use for geraniums etc. I put a few bark chips I had on the top. Looks like it is going to turn all brown. Help! as this was a gift from my son.
I am sending a “before” picture which I took after repotting it on Saturday May 04, 2019 and the “after” picture today, just 3 days later on Tuesday, May 7th! Can you offer me any help? Thanks.

It may be the soil. It requires moist, acidic soil in part to full shade. Similar to a woodland garden. See more below:
