Q.HOW TO SAFELY REMOVE LARKSPUR VOLUNTEERS GROWING IN MY GARDEN

MY GARDEN IS BEING TAKEN OVER WITH THE NATIVE LARKSPUR. ARE THEY ANNUALS? CAN THEY BE TRANSPLANTED TO ANOTHER AREA?

You say the native larkspur, but I suspect if your garden is being overrun, it is probably the annual larkspur. The perennial delphinium is a short-lived perennial. Annual larkspur can be relocated when they are vey young, but they do better if left alone. In late summer when the seeds are ripe, collect the seeds and disperse them where you would like to see them come up the next year.
