Q.How To Safely Divide A Spider Plants.

My grandparents gave me 2 spider plants in 1973. I’ve had them for 51 yrs. I just moved to Alaska. Keep them in shade in summer, and indoors in winter with plant lights. I’m 74 now and can barely lift them. I need to divide them safely. Any easy suggestions?
