How to repair snapped branch on standard Marguerite or will it regrow branches snapped off in strong wind, leaving a large gap on one side of plant?

I'm sorry your plant was damaged.
I do think the plant will send out new shoots and fill in, I'm basing this on the growth that I'm familiar with on Marguerite Daisy plants.
