How To Remove Cow Parsnip From Large Garden?

Discovered it by accident having caused serious burn to my foot. Some of the growth a foot high, some newly growing on lawn. Its popping up everywhere. My garden is surrounded by fields here in Herefordshire uk. I’m worried for children and dogs safety. Need to mow lawn but then I’m exposing sap!! Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
