The vegetable plants looked good this morning but when the sun finally came out, the leaves are drooping. Did the same thing yesterday. Any advice?

Unfortunately, at this point it is a waiting game while you wait for the water to drain this time. The plants are drooping because their roots are not able to get air.

For the future, if you are worried that this will happen again, you may want to look at installing a french drain or a rain garden to help steer the water away.
