Hi prettyfeet69,

Let's try this again, I tried answering this question, but I don't know where my answer went. I have experienced the same thing in the past and actually just finished writing a series of posts on my blog on how to baby a gardenia. Your're best friends will be cornstarch and a fertilizer for acid-loving plants.

If you are interested in reading the posts, just visit my blog. Just search for gardenia and you will see what I did to get my gardenia to bloom.

I hope that helps. Let me know how it works for you.

Good luck,
