How To Prune Coffee Tree

This coffee tree has stalks 3 feet tall. All leaves and fruit are at the very top with no leaves in the middle. Id like leaf growth at the bottom near the roots. It is root bound  and when is a good time to repot?

Is your tree summered outside but spends winters indoors? These articles should help. When repotting, only go up a size or two in container so that the plant is not overwatered by lots of excess soil. Repot in spring before you move it outdoors.
