How To Propagate A Dracaena Plant?

The plant has a 12 inch long stem that is barren of leaves. The top part is about 8 inches of nicely growing green leaves. I would like to get rid of the long stem.

These will, actually, propagate very easily! It is as simple as taking your preferred stem as a cutting and sticking it in some clean water. Keep the water changed out until roots form, and pot the cutting up! Here is an article for more detailed information:
