How to obtain new zebra plant growth from the bottom?

I’ve had a zebra plant for quite a while and it grows new leaves from the top only, therefore looking like a tree.

When the flowers die down, remove them and trim the stem and leaves down from the top to encourage branching. Try to leave two rows of leaves if you have that many at the top.
