Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi. I am trying to save a gorgeous calif pepper tree from being cut down. The nearby homeowner is concerned about invasive roots reaching his driveway. A 24″ deep trench has been cut on the side of tree facing his home, which seems like it would solve the problem. But people are going to say “You can’t be sure that 5 years from now the roots will just grow back, so we have to cut down the tree (65′ tall) to be safe.” Any ideas on how I can counter that argument? I need to know by this Thursday……
