How to Make Your Own Seeds From a Rose or Rose Bush

Question

I would like to plant more rose smooth velvet bushes, but was wondering if there is a way to use the roses from a bush to make the seeds or how to germinate seeds from a rose bush? I really would like to know can I bury a rose in the ground and next yr will it possibly grow a rose bush?
