How to Kill Existing Weeds and Keep Them From Growing Back

mammalu added on August 26, 2014 | Answered

I had moved into my new home that had a lovely lawn (it had been laid with sod). Now 1 1/2 years later the lawn is overgrown with weeds that just keep growing back. What non-toxic remedy can I use to kill them (I have dogs and do not want to harm them) and keep them from growing back and grow a beautiful lawn?
