How to KILL Boxwood

I have these bushes that turn into trees that look exactly like Boxwood. They are taking over some of the place I want to open my yard, which I can’t do until I kill them out. So please, how do you kill them? Please email me the answer. Thank you so much!!!

Cut them down and then paint the fresh, open cut with undiluted Round Up. This will kill the plant to the roots so that they can't grow back.
