Q.How to Kill a Wisteria Bush

I have tried to dig it up and replant it elsewhere, but it continues to grow in same spot. It has grown under my sidewalk and actually moved it. The bush has been there for over 30 years. What kind of herbicides can I use? Also, I have dug up most of root system I could get to without taking up my sidewalk and stairs. It is tearing up my house. Please help.
