How to Keep Leaves From Growing Back on a Tree

I want to know how to stop tree leaves from growing back on a tree and how to keep a tree from growing back after it has been cut. The leaves are keeping the cable signal from coming in and being able to watch cable tv.

It is likely growing suckers, meaning that some of the tree’s roots are still alive, even though it has been cut. This would also cause the tree to continue growing leaves, or so it would seem. That’s if the leaf growing is on the same tree that has been cut. If they are coming from a healthy growing tree, then you cannot keep them from growing.

To get rid of any growth from a tree that has been cut, undiluted Round Up will help kill the roots. You will need to wound the roots (normally, people cut the suckers down and use those wounds) and then paint the undiluted Round Up on the wounds. The bigger or more wounds you paint, the better. The roots will suck the Round Up in and it will kill them. You may have to repeat the process a few times to fully kill the roots if the root system is still strong.
