How to growe Sycamore tree from seeds

Hi, I´m Agneta from Sweden, so I begin with to ask You to forgive me for bad spelling.
I want to know if I can growe a Sycamore tree from seads by my self? If so, how do I do? I have three small sead balls from a tree that growes in front of my friends house. How do I know if it is both male and female seads? Do I need both sorts of the seads? Shall I put them in soil or in water to growe? Please tell me as mutch as You can, in an easy way so I understands, about how to do. If it is possible to grow them on my own. I love the bark and the big leaves. Have a nice day. There are three different trees called sycamore in different countries, and I’m not sure which one you have in Sweden. But assuming it is the one shown in the linked article, you can grow them from seed.

Each sycamore tree is both male and female (it produces male and female flowers on the same plant), so all you need is one seed. Each seed ball contains many seeds, which you can separate with your hands.

The seeds need to be placed in the refrigerator for 12 weeks to chill, so that they think winter has passed. Then, soak the seeds in water for 24 hours and plant them on the surface of a small container of seed starting soil or regular potting soil. Keep the soil moist (but not sopping wet) for about 2 weeks or until they germinate. You can grow them in containers until they are large enough to plant outdoors.
