Bulbs forced in water are usually discarded; the bulb is utterly depleted. You can plant it in potting soil as soon as the bloom is over, fertilize, then plant it outside after last frost date. Use a balanced fertilizer like 10-10-10 (with some superphosphate mixed into the soil). It may come back next year but may need another year to recover sufficiently to bloom.
