How to get rid of white mites on croton plants? Are they harmful to me or do I have to worry about them getting on me? Because I am already scared any kind of insects.

Plant mites are not harmful to humans, so don't worry about them getting on you. Taking the plant outside and hosing it down to wash the mites off is a good control method. Here are some other ways to get rid of the mites:
