Q.How to get rid of perennial peanut in lawn

Zone Mililani, HI | newguy1617 added on March 26, 2016 | Answered

My landscaper did not kill the perennial peanut that was my front yard before he laid out the El Toro sod and now the perennial peanut is growing up through my lawn. How do I get rid of the perennial peanut without harming my El Toro?

In my research the Zoysia will not likely over grow the Perennial Peanut.
You will have a yard of both grasses.

Before the Zoysia was installed the ground should have been cleared of all material and weeds.

I would consult a qualified landscaping company for the best way to proceed and to protect your investment.
