How To Get Rid Of Knotweed

Question

I have knotweed plants that are bout six feet tall at the edge of my lawn. What is the best way to get rid of them? Also, in Massachusetts, it is a prohibited plant but my condo association won’t help. If you know anything about who I could contact, it is much appreciated. Thank you.
