Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy yard has LOTS of crape myrtle bushes. Too many. Can one kill the roots or do you have to dig them up?
I have lived here only two years, but I know these bushes have to be YEARS OLD.

If you have a main trunk, you can cut the crepe myrtle off and drill holes in it. There are then products available at a nursery to kill the roots. If it is a bush with many stems or trunks, I don’t have a clue. I am trying to get rid of two of them myself. I just keep cutting them off but I suppose there are brush killers that are available. I don’t use chemicals so I just live with the constant trimming.
