How to get rid of asparagus beetle?

I can’t seem to get rid of these beetles… they somehow found my asparagus garden after 3 years and now they constantly “return” every year. I have tried safers “end all” to no effect. The only thing I noticed is that the larve cannot seem to survive if the foliage is dry (they tend to dry out). Anyway I am in Ontario and am wondering if anyone can provide me with an effective way to get rid of these pests as they are difficult to spot and constantly pick off (part of their defense is when you go to squish them with your fingers they intentionally “fall off” the plant so they can climb up at a later point. They also multiply quickly..
