Q.How To Get Rid Of Ants In Outside Plant Pots And Do Ants Stop Plants From Growing

I have planted some plants in pots outside and they are not growing They are not dead but just not getting any bigger and not flowering Some are begonias There are lots of ants in the pots Could this be the cause If so how do I get rid of ants

Ants do tend to find their way into containers, quite often. Usually, they are looking for aphids to farm!
