Q.How To Fix A Break In Tomato Stalk?

Zone 98034 | Rachelsgarden added on July 24, 2020 | Answered

One of my tomato plants became too heavy and fell over into another plant and broke it to the point that only a small portion of the stalk is intact. Can this be salvaged? Is grafting it back on at this mature age possible or can I sever the broken portion and try to replant it? There is fruit right past the breaking point and lots more further down the plant that I would like to save if at all possible. Thanks for the help!
