Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have several lovely plants growing in water only – in clear jars in a windowsill. I’m wondering how to fertilize a few that aren’t doing so well. Are there any home remedies you’d recommend – i.e. diluted green tea mixed in, finely crushed egg shells in the water, epsom salts in the jar, etc.? These are all tips for fertilizing potted plants, but I need to help out those in clear glass jars without overpowering them and the water they are in and without making the jar look gross.
Thanks!

We recommend a water soluble fertilizer.
