Q.How To Care For Hanging Lobelia.

I bought 2 hanging lobelia yesterday. Put it on the porch floor, not in sun. I am in zone 6a, central NY. They are wilting today, look sad. I didn’t water it yesterday as it was moist. This a.m. I put them on hooks to hang. Last night it was 43°. I did add a little water this a.m. as my moisture meter said low moist. Any suggestions? They were beautiful yesterday. I’ve never owned one and have never seen a hanging plant droop overnight. Thanks!
