Q.How to Care for a Potted Hibiscus in Gran Canaria
My daughter recently moved to Gran anaria and has a couple of potted hibiscus plants. We’ve read a lot of advice but it is all aimed at plants in U. K. Wondering if you can give advice, as our spanish isn’t that good to ask on spanish sites.
Thank you, tulipdamen

In your climate, this plant can be grown outdoors year round, even in a container. Its care would be the same as those grown in ground, though watering would need to be increased as pots dry out quicker. Watering once daily or when the soil feel dry to the touch should be enough, but if temps rise above 85 degrees F., you may want to increase this to twice a day.
