How To Care For A Lemon Tree And Sunflower Sapling?

I’m in an Australian dry climate no humidity but it’s currently a wet winter I have the saplings indoors against a window but I just want to know how best to care for them so they grow healthy the smaller one is the lemon and the larger is the sunflower the previous owner has put eggshell in the soil hence the brown stuff on the top of the soil pls help

They need full sun to thrive if you can provide it. You may need some fluorescent lights to help. Here is more:
