How Should I Transplant Hardy Hibiscus in Spring

We have moved and I want to bring my hardy hibiscus with me. It is already about 2 feet tall, but not blooming. Please advise me on what to do.

I would also trim the plant back by 1/3 right before you move it. You may lose blooming this year, but it will improve the chances of the plant will survive the move.
