Yet to read the amount or how to calculate how much drench mixture to pour around a tree. Every article says how much chemical to mix with water, but never how many gallons you need to use.

The mixture information should be on the package label of the product you are using. There isn't a standard rate for the water as it depends on the product being used and the application method. These articles should help:
