Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy garden area is about 400 square ft. I tilled up an area where grass was. The soil has a somewhat clay base but not too bad. I’m going to add about 800 lbs of organic compost/manure as well. How much lime and fertilizer do I need for this garden?

I would recommend a soil test for your new garden plot.
This would eliminate the guess work as to what your soil needs or doesn’t need.
I have listed several links including a link to help your locate your local extension office.
They can help you with a soil test.
